How the App Works
Trump Tracker provides publicly available data on the Trump Administration's finances and activities:
- Public Data Display: The app displays publicly available information about Trump Administration cabinet members, including financial disclosures, stock trades, and asset holdings.
- Data Fetching: When you browse cabinet members or view financial data, the app fetches publicly available data from our servers.
- Search & Explore: You can search for and explore cabinet members, view their trades, holdings, and financial disclosures — all using publicly available data.
- No Account Required: The app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use its features.
Important: All data displayed in the app is sourced from public records including congressional financial disclosures, periodic transaction reports, and other publicly available government data. No personal user data is collected or transmitted.
Network & Internet Usage
The app requires an internet connection to fetch publicly available political and financial data from our servers. These requests contain only the information needed to retrieve the relevant public data (e.g., a cabinet member's name or a stock ticker). No personal information, device identifiers, or usage analytics are included in these requests.
Data Sharing
We do not share any user data with third parties because we do not collect any user data. The app does not contain any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking integrations.
Permissions Explained
Internet Access
Required to fetch publicly available political and financial data from our servers. No personal data is transmitted.
Local Storage
Used to cache public data for faster load times and store your app preferences locally on your device.
Share (Optional)
If you choose to share a cabinet member's profile or data, the app uses your device's native share functionality. This is entirely user-initiated.
Haptic Feedback (Optional)
The app may use subtle haptic feedback for certain interactions to improve the user experience. No data is collected through this feature.
Children's Privacy
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app displays only publicly available government data and does not require account creation or personal information of any kind.
